We are actively seeking an Assistant Ecommerce Account Manager to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!

This role’s primary responsibility will be to drive sales through Chewy.com. This role will be responsible for sales performance, assortment management, competitive research, promotional planning, merchandising, forecasting, supply chain, reporting and analysis, and day-to-day account support for a subset of our current Chewy.com business. Additionally, this role will work with cross-functional departments to collaborate on projects that drive strategic business initiatives for their platform.

As our Assistant Ecommerce Account Manager, you’ll make an impact by:
  • Overseeing the day-to-day interaction with Chewy.com and serving as the liaison between internal teams and the external customer.
  • Identifying sales promotions and marketing initiatives for categories and brands and work closely with the customer to execute.
  • Working with key stakeholders, departments, and partners to communicate strategy and deliver actionable insights.
  • Developing, maintaining and enhancing PDPs and on-site experiences for categories/brands
  • Supporting the forecasting/inventory management process by executing ongoing analysis to compare past and current sales combined with pricing and competitive factors to achieve target growth.
  • Pulling weekly performance data and make recommendations on how to improve.
  • Monitoring and making recommendations related to competitive assortment, pricing, and consumer engagement.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, advertising, PR, digital retail, retail merchandising, project management, or related field
  • 3 years of experience (including internship) with eCommerce account management, digital merchandising, or catalog management required.
  • Intermediate experience level in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to work out of multiple technology tools and systems simultaneously.
  • Exceptional project management, attention to detail, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical skills & business acumen
  • Experience working directly with Chewy.com and/or experience working in the Pet Industry preferred
