Description
Position Overview
The Work Center Coach will play a key role in supporting and guiding production team members to achieve daily performance goals. Primary responsibilities will include providing on-the-job training, offering real-time feedback, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Essential Functions
  • Provide hands-on training to production team members using work instructions and SOPs.
  • Monitor team performance, offering constructive feedback and guidance to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Operate machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
  • Assemble products or components following detailed instructions and quality standards.
  • Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving operational issues that may impact production goals.
  • Promote and enforce adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the Production Lead to implement process improvements.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate team members.
  • Basic knowledge of safety and quality standards.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
  • Demonstrated ability or willingness to become a certified operator in the work center within 60 days of starting the position.
  • To better ensure for the operational performance and safety of the business and the individual, the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English is required.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, first shift 5:45am to 4:00pm, second shift 3:45pm-2:0am. Fridays when business necessitates. Consistent and regular attendance is required as an essential job function.

These hours are subject to change based upon company needs.

Work Environment
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions depending on the production environment.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Must be able to work with hay and hay-based products.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds (100-pound requirement for bulk), with some overhead lifting.
  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, and walk across uneven surfaces while working.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and tasks as required by the production process.
