We are actively seeking a Critical Customer Manager to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!

This role’s primary responsibility will be building and maintaining strong relationships with Walmart while ensuring revenue/profit plans are secured.

As our Critical Customer Manager, you’ll make an impact by:
  • Developing and executing an item-level forecasting system for Compana Pet Brands (CPB) within Walmart D8 Pet.
  • Leading and supporting the creation of account strategies and annual operating plans that deliver CPB’s budget goals and meet Omni distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing expectations at the category level.
  • Owning and driving the execution of annual Line Reviews across cross‑functional teams for the D8 category.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customer partners by interacting with Merchant/Buyer teams to ensure successful execution of the customer category plan.
  • Leading cross-functional collaboration with merchants, marketing, and product teams to design and activate “Store to Digital” customer journeys that increase digital penetration and market share.
  • Owning P&L management for the account by overseeing key levers including list price, sales allowances, rebates, markdowns, trade marketing spend, and customer investments (e.g., retail media, customer data) at the category level.
What you need to succeed:
  • Effectively communicate in English, in both verbal and written forms.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of CPG experience across marketing, business development, or sales.
  • Cross-functional operational expertise, including monthly sales forecasting and end‑to‑end supply planning with customers.
  • Deep understanding of customer distribution networks and key performance metrics, such as fill rate, on‑time delivery, vendor lead times, in‑stocks, POS, and Nielsen data.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and financial acumen, with a proven ability to build relationships and execute effective sales strategies internally and with customers.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively while demonstrating high professionalism, motivation, and accuracy.
