Shift: M-F 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

We are actively seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!

As our Quality Control Lab Technician, you’ll make an impact by:

  • Inspecting and Quality Lab testing of manufactured and purchased materials, components, compounding batches, and finished goods to ensure they meet specifications to release and initiates and follows Nonconformance Hold procedures for items that that do not meet specifications.
  • Performing pre-operational inspections, including ATP testing, and verify that sanitation activities are performed, documented, and works with fellow Quality and Production team members to ensure all sanitation steps are followed.
  • Assisting in developing procedures such as batch instructions and special requirements for the chemicals or components used to create formula batch and conducts research for previous batch history to help determine if adjustments might be required and if so, what chemicals will be needed based off the data.
  • Performing Quality laboratory tests to track results and document progress of formulas and any improvements or any adjustments from start to finish meaning from lab to ensure they meet established standards and guidelines to consecutive successful production runs.
  • Collecting environmental, raw material, and finished product samples as needed, and monitors retain samples throughout shelf life and communicate findings to a cross functional team when required.
  • Preparing samples for internal and external laboratory testing; document, evaluate and interpret results and communicate deviations with cross functional teams.

What you need to succeed:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Associate’s/bachelor’s degree preferred: science based (chemistry, microbiology, or similar).
  • Minimum 2 years of quality laboratory and/or manufacturing industry experience
  • Ability to use lab equipment to conduct testing, including Viscometer, pH, Titration, micrometer, specific gravity, etc.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Power BI, label matrix) and ability to learn and navigate other database systems and customer driven web-based portals.
  • The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
