We are actively seeking a Packaging Engineer to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!
As our Packaging Engineer, you’ll make an impact by:
- Leading the development and implementation of innovative packaging solutions focused on cost reduction, efficiency, and sustainability, without compromising product integrity or customer satisfaction.
- Applying Design to Value (DtV) principles to analyze and redesign existing packaging, identifying opportunities for cost savings through material optimization, design simplification, and manufacturing process improvements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, supply chain, and external suppliers, to ensure packaging designs meet cost targets, sustainability goals, and market needs.
- Conducting comprehensive cost-benefit analyses for packaging initiatives, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
- Managing the packaging development process from concept through to production, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on cost reduction and efficiency.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in packaging design and development, with a proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Deep understanding of Design to Value (DtV) principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in packaging design software and familiarity with material science and packaging technologies.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to conduct cost analysis and manage budgets.
