This role’s primary responsibility will be to serve as a critical link between our key customers, co-packers and distribution locations. The primary responsibility is to ensure seamless communication and coordination between all parties to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
As our Order Management Representative, you'll make an impact by:
- Receiving and processing orders via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), as well as manual order entry
- Monitoring customer scheduling of trucks and informing distribution accordingly to prevent overloading.
- Coordinating the logistics of truckloads ensuring that shipment schedules align with warehouse capacity.
- Acting as the main point of contact between customers and warehousing, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Communicating orders/deliveries promptly to warehousing, ensuring all details are accurate and complete.
- Addressing and resolving any issues or discrepancies in orders or deliveries in collaboration with customers and warehousing.
- Coordinating with the Regulatory Department on securing proper paperwork and certificates.
- High school diploma. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience (internships, co-op, or coursework related are also considered). Experience in a manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel. ERP experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external partners.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- To better ensure the operational performance and safety of the business and the individual, the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English is required.
