As our Work Center Coach/Production Lead, you’ll make an impact by:

  • Leading the work team to follow standardized work methods to meet or exceed work center benchmarks. Support the team’s learning, collaboration and improvement by asking questions, providing training, leading problem-solving, and accessing additional resources when needed.
  • Training work team members to safely operate equipment using work instructions and SOPs.
  • Packaging hay and hay-based products for delivery to customers, ensuring products meet all quality assurance specifications.
  • Operating equipment properly to prevent personal injury, damage to equipment, and downtime.
  • Communicating effectively with individuals and teams throughout the company as needed.

What you need to succeed:

  • High school degree or equivalent preferred
  • Become certified operator in the work center within 60 days
  • Effective communicator
  • Positive change leader and role model
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Follow verbal and written instructions
  • Work with hay and hay-based products
  • Work in a standing position for up to two hours without a break
  • Lift up to 50 pounds (100-pound requirement for bulk), with some overhead lifting)
  • Bend and twist while working
  • Operate equipment for moving materials, if applicable

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 10 hours shift, and Fridays when business needs necessitate. 1st Shift is 5:45 am - 4:15 pm M-TH, Fri as needed or 2nd shift is M-TH 3:45 pm - 2:15 am Fri as needed. Consistent and regular attendance is required as an essential job function.These hours are subject to change based upon company needs.
