We are actively seeking a Production Associate - Pellets to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!
As our Production Associate - Pellets, you'll make an impact by:
- Processing and packaging approximately 40,000-80,000 pounds of pellet products by preparing case boxes and/or palletizing product for delivery to customers.
- Making up to 2,000 (25lb bags) and/or up to 1,000 (5-10lb bags) of pellets per shift.
- Ensuring products meet all quality assurance specifications including appearance and weight.
- Following all safety procedures, and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Following all food safety procedures.
- Working on designated line following production schedule.
- Operating and maintain equipment as instructed and keep work area as orderly as possible, cleaning thoroughly during and after each run.
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to consistently lift heavy bags/boxes throughout the shift both boxing and palletizing - in a shift 40,000-80,000 pounds is processed
- Ability to lift 65 pounds with some overhead lifting
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, push, pull, and walk across uneven surfaces while working
- Ability to operate equipment for moving materials, if applicable
- To better ensure the operational performance and safety of the business and the individual, the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English is required.
