We are actively seeking a Production Associate to join our growing organization and help us Nuture What You Love!

As a Production Associate, you'll make an impact by:

  • Operating, adjusting, cleaning, and maintaining machinery and production line equipment.
  • Observing operations to ensure safety, quality, and conformity of filled/packaged products to established standards.
  • Supplying materials to hoppers, mixers, conveyors, and other feeding devices; remove damaged or otherwise inferior raw products for processing
  • Sorting, weighing and inspecting products; verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications.
  • Regulating machine flow, speed, and/or temperature.
  • Stopping or resetting equipment when malfunction occurs, clear jams, and report malfunctions to manager.
  • Adjusting machine components according to package size and packaging standards.
  • Monitoring the production line while watching for problems.
  • Sorting, counting, and recording finished goods and rejected packaged items.
  • Stacking finished product or wrapping protective material around each item and pack into cartons or containers.
  • Stocking and sorting product for packaging or filling machine operation; replenish packaging supplies such as pouches, bags, boxes, cartons, tape, ink, and labels.
  • Inspecting and removing defective products and packaging material.
  • Cleaning equipment and facility as required to meet safety and quality specifications.
  • Complying with established facility safety policies, produces, and other regulations including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a production setting preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical problems.
  • Operate and changeover equipment.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to monitor production and perform quality checks.
  • Produce finished goods with the least amount of scrap to achieve high quality standards.
  • Strong reading comprehension skills.
  • Possess excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Physical strength to lift 10-30 pounds repetitively with ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to perform all essential job functions and other duties as assigned.
  • Professional behavior and strong work ethic.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours are Monday-Friday 7 am-3:30pm. These hours are subject to change based upon Company needs. Must have the flexibility to work overtime as needed and weekend hours by demand. Consistent and regular attendance is a required job function.

Work Environment
Due to the nature of the work, employee must be able to stand for long hours at a time, perform repetitive tasks with minimal supervision, and withstand hot temperatures. Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
