We are actively seeking a Project Engineer to join our growing organization and help us Nuture What You Love!

As our Project Engineer, you'll make an impact by:
  • Preparing capital manufacturing project requests and serving as project manager to complete approved projects on time and within budget.
  • Researching, specifying, evaluating, assisting in design, and validating production and packaging manufacturing equipment as needed to improve plant quality, efficiency and output.
  • Leading and directing the installation of manufacturing equipment and/or processes; training production personnel on proper operating parameters for new equipment and products; maintaining records and documentation of equipment/product trials and scale up (equipment settings, process steps, and product results).
  • Developing project plans, identifying key milestones and required cross functional resources.
  • Collaborating with Production, Maintenance, Quality, IT, and Continuous Improvement staff members to improve equipment, systems, and processes.
  • Recommending and driving changes to equipment, systems, processes, and procedures that will improve safety, quality, and/or efficiency.
  • Managing positive relationships with outside vendors, ensuring that services are rendered in a timely and thorough manner.
What you need to succeed:
  • BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical is preferred) from an ABET accredited university.
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering and/or project management.
  • Proven results as an engineer and project manager (ideally in a CPG or food manufacturing).
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and business partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Superior critical thinking skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines in a fast-paced organization and achieve desired results.
  • To better ensure the operational performance and safety of the business and the individual, the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English is required.
