We are actively seeking a Regulatory Specialist to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!

The Regulatory Specialist plays a key role in driving innovation and ensuring compliance across various state, federal, and international regulations. This role is crucial to helping navigate complex regulatory landscapes while finding creative solutions to future compliance challenges. Your contributions will directly support new product initiatives, product registrations, and ensure smooth international shipments.

As our Regulatory Specialist, you’ll make an impact by:
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with state regulators to proactively manage potential issues.
  • Handling product registrations with state and federal authorities, ensuring timely fee payments and securing documentation for international shipments.
  • Reviewing and maintaining records that support product development and safety.
  • Collaborating with R&D and Marketing teams to ensure product claims are supported by proper testing protocols.
  • Conducting formula reviews and staying updated on regulatory requirements (EPA, AAFCO, FDA, and animal feed labeling).
  • Developing and maintaining regulatory SOPs, schedules, and status trackers to streamline operations.
  • Overseeing product and license registrations, including renewals for feeds, animal health products, livestock medications, and pesticides.
  • Serving as a key liaison across departments, ensuring cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and R&D.
  • Managing product lifecycle, including discontinuations.
What you need to succeed:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in regulatory or quality documentation fields, with the ability to grow into a supervisory role.
  • B.S. or B.A. in Food Science, Animal Science, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. Non-science backgrounds with relevant regulatory experience are also welcome.
  • Hands-on experience with product registration; feed or pesticide experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
  • To better ensure the operational performance and safety of the business and the individual, the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English is required.
