We are actively seeking a Retention Marketing Manager to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!

This role’s primary responsibility will be to drive long-term customer value by improving retention, reducing churn, and creating best-in-class subscriber and loyalty experiences.

As our Retention Marketing Manager, you’ll make an impact by:
  • Developing annual lifecycle roadmaps, testing strategies, and personalization enhancements that increase retention and repeat purchase rates – driving higher LTV.
  • Managing email and SMS marketing:
    • Overseeing Email and SMS agency, providing guidance for strategy, planning, execution and performance tracking.
    • Outlining A/B testing calendar to optimize performance and achieve benchmarks for flows and campaigns.
    • Planning email/SMS campaign calendar to support promotions, product launches, and marketing communications.
  • Managing subscription and loyalty programs: Implement strategies to reduce churn, build customer loyalty, and increase revenue through upselling or new subscription plans.
  • Analyzing performance data, consumer insights and user behavior to understand how shoppers interact with us (website, emails, texts, and loyalty service) and bring actionable insights that can be leveraged in retention marketing tactics.
  • Building testing roadmaps for offers, cadence, and creative to continuously optimize engagement and conversion.
  • Identifying opportunities for cross-sell and upsell through personalized lifecycle programs.
  • Collaborate closely with DTC, Integrated Marketing, and Brand teams to align optimization initiatives with brand and growth goals.
What you need to succeed:
  • Effectively communicate in English, in both verbal and written forms
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing, ideally within an ecommerce, DTC, or consumer brand setting.
  • Demonstrable success in retaining customers and building loyalty for products with longer purchasing cycles.
  • Excellent proficiency in marketing automation tools (Klaviyo, attentive, etc.) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, TripleWhale, NorthBeam).
  • Strong analytical skills, with proven experience using data to segment audiences and personalize marketing strategies.
  • Proficient in Shopify and Recharge/Ordergroove, including backend and CMS (e.g., reporting, editing themes, adding new SKUs, updating product pricing, supporting promotions and new product launches, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience in CRO optimization that improve overall retention preferred.
