Title: Tax Accountant 
Location: Chesterfield, MO  (work remotely Mondays and Fridays)
Hours: Part time (25-30 hours per week)

We are actively seeking a  Part Time Tax Accountant to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!

This role’s primary responsibility will be will to provide support to the accounting team with primary responsibilities related to sales and use tax.

As our Tax Accountant, you’ll make an impact by:

• Managing the Sales Tax program for the entire organization.
  • Gathering sales data from company systems necessary to prepare sales tax returns.
  • Working with an outside tax firm to timely prepare sales tax returns.
  • Working with the Ecommerce team in maintaining and updating SKUs for proper sales tax treatment in AvaTax.
• Managing the Use Tax program for the entire organization.
• Assisting in resolving state and local tax notices and sales and tax audits.

What you need to succeed:

• Effectively communicate in English, in both verbal and written forms
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 3+ years of experience in the Sales/Use Tax field.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Products.
• SAP and Avalara/AvaTax experience preferred.
