We are actively seeking a National Account Manager to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!

This role’s primary responsibility will be to build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart while ensuring revenue/profit plans are secured. As a Walmart National Account Manager, you must be able to analyze performance metrics in order to develop and execute strategies to achieve annual business goals.

As our Walmart National Account Manager - Pet & Wildlife, you’ll make an impact by:
  • Leading the development and execution of item level forecasting system for Compana Pet Brands (CPB) – Walmart D8-9 business.
  • Supporting the development of specific account strategies and annual operating plans that deliver CPB budget and Omni distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, and Price expectations at the category level.
  • Supporting the execution of Innovation and annual Line Reviews at the category level for Pet & Sporting Goods.
  • Interacting with customer personnel to drive the execution of the customer category plan, building strong relationships at the Merchant/Buyer level.
  • Owning P&L responsibility for business across the account by managing all account P&L levers including List price, sales allowances, rebates, markdowns, trade marketing spend and other customer investments (i.e., Retail Media, Customer Data) at the category level.
  • Networking and building strong relationships with key customer decision makers and key internal stakeholders.
  • Using data, information systems, and metrics around financial, brand, and shopper trends to maximize market share, sales, and gross margin.
What you need to succeed:
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5 years’ experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) within Marketing, Business Development, or Sales.
  • Strong cross-functional expertise in operational disciplines such as providing a monthly sales forecast and end-to-end supply planning with the customer.
  • Strong understanding of customer distribution networks and customer-related metrics (i.e., Fill Rate, On-Time, Vendor Lead time, In-Stocks).
  • 5 years CPG/Pet Specialty sales experience preferred.
